Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Math Tutor AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use Math Tutor AI for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained in Math Tutor AI
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

Beta Service Disclaimer

Math Tutor AI is currently in BETA. The service is provided "as is" and may contain errors, bugs, or inaccuracies. The AI tutor may provide incorrect answers or explanations. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided by the service. Use the service at your own risk.

Payment Terms

Payments for premium subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription
  • Provide accurate payment information
  • Authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees
  • Understand that subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for the current billing period.

Third-Party Services

Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Your use of Stripe's services is subject to Stripe's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for Stripe's services or any issues that may arise from their use.

OpenAI

Our AI tutoring functionality is powered by OpenAI. All queries sent to OpenAI are anonymized and do not contain personally identifiable information. Your use of our service acknowledges that mathematical problems and queries may be processed by OpenAI's systems in anonymized form.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Math Tutor AI to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Math Tutor AI or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use Math Tutor AI, even if Math Tutor AI or a Math Tutor AI authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

The materials on Math Tutor AI are provided on an 'as is' basis. Math Tutor AI makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Modifications

Math Tutor AI may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using this service, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
